Victoria Rose Richards is an accomplished embroidery artist with a passion for crafting mesmerizing embroideries inspired by the aerial perspectives of the British countryside. Having already completed an impressive collection of over 200 embroideries, it’s evident that her creative journey is far from reaching its conclusion.
During a recent interview with Bored Panda, Victoria revealed that her inspiration struck around June of the previous year when she was engrossed in a Color Series project. As she meticulously worked on creating landscapes, each representing a different color from the wheel, she encountered a creative block when dealing with the green segment. Staring out of her bedroom window at the adjacent fields and trees, she had an intriguing idea of translating the top-down view into her embroidery. The first attempt at this concept captivated her entirely, and Victoria realized that aerial views had always intrigued her, leading her to discover her artistic calling.
