Meet Eden Kozokaro, better known as Kozo, an Israeli tattoo artist currently residing in New York. His expertise lies in creating intricate miniature tattoos, drawing inspiration from a variety of sources, including movies, paintings, and comic books. According to an interview featured in Inked Magazine, Kozo’s journey as a tattoo artist began when a close friend purchased a budget tattoo machine from eBay. Taking on his friend as his first client, he quickly started offering complimentary tattoos to acquaintances and friends.
Describing the tattoo culture in Israel as a small yet supportive community, Kozo and his fellow tattooer friends are dedicated to showcasing that tattoos are genuine forms of artistic expression. Their passion is to change any preconceived notions and reveal tattoos as a true art form.
